Hi there!

I'm James, and whether you are new to Yoga, or already have a practice, I'm pleased to guide you on your Yoga journey.

Yoga has been a huge part of my life for many years, and as an instructor and teacher it's an honour to help others find the same joy and benefit in the practice as I have.

My goal is to raise your awareness of mindful movement, to help you tune into your body, and build a practice that will sustain you for many years, on and off the mat.

​

I am a 200 hour Yoga Alliance instructor with continuing education certificates in Breathwork & Pranayama, as well as Yoga for flexibility

​

Strength, Balance, Flexibility.

I believe these 3 principles are key, on and off the Yoga mat!

Strong muscles and bones help prevent injury and pain. By staying physically, we are more likely to stay healthy for longer. Mental strength helps us manage thoughts, regulate emotions, and focus our energy on the things that matter most.

​

Balance in all things is important. Body awareness, coordination, joint stability & reaction time, to name a few. It's also dead handy when you need to stand on one leg to get your shoe on!

​

Flexibility ties all of this together. Flexibility improves our posture and balance, it can reduce the chance of injury and generally make us feel better if it's not an effort to put on socks!
